The Youth Ministry of First Baptist Church

The Youth Ministry at FBC Colquitt is all about creating a welcoming and exciting space for young people to grow in their faith and build meaningful relationships. Our purpose is to inspire and equip them to live out their faith in their daily lives. Our mission is to create a supportive environment where young people can explore their faith, ask questions, and discover their unique purpose. We’re all about having fun, learning together, and making a positive impact in our community and the world for Jesus.

We named our meeting place “The Anchor” because we believe that faith is like an anchor. It keeps us grounded, provides stability, and guides us through life’s ups and downs. We strive to be an anchor for our young people as well, offering them a solid foundation of love, support, and guidance as they navigate life. Together, we aim to create a community where they can find strength, hope, courage, and a sense of belonging.

We want all of our youth to know Jesus Christ and to find their ultimate joy and satisfaction in Him. We have designed our youth ministry to deepen understanding of the greatness of our God, and to give encouragement in the pursuit of godliness.
